So I am still new to this couponing and was curious about the doubling coupon thing. Which stores do it and do they do it on all coupons? like if I took in my diapers coupon for 1.50 off on one package would it double it to save 3 dollars or do I have it all wrong??? Someone please help me to understand this?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Kroger doubles coupons with a value up to $.50 making your total savings $1. Any coupon more than $.50 will not double, but will remain the value of the coupon. These coupons automatically double when they are scanned at the register.
Kroger also triples coupons up to $.35 making your total savings $1.05.
Kroger will triple the same coupon 3x per transaction. For example, if you bought 3 boxes of cereal, used 3/$.35 coupons, all three coupons would automatically triple when scanned to make your savings $1.05 per box of cereal. If you bought a 4th box of cereal in the same transaction and used a $.35 coupon, after the 3rd coupon is scanned, only $.35 will be taken off your bill. I hope that makes sense.
Albertsons also doubles and triples coupons. All the same rules apply except that Albertsons will double and triple up to 4 like coupons per transaction.
Brookshires doubles and triples coupons. I was there the other day and bought 2 bags of sugar, used 2/$.35 coupons and only the first coupon tripled and not the second, so I am assuming they double and triple only 1 coupon per transaction. I have not shopped there much so I don't know their exact policy.
I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to ask more questions if you have them.

Great explanation Angela!
You are right, Brookshires will only double or triple the first like coupon, so it has to be a REALLY good deal or I only need one of the item (or only have 1 coupon) for it to be worth it there. I have gotten some really good deals, so don't discount it completely
Super 1, Wal-mart, Target, Commissary, Kmart etc. do not double or triple. Exception: Kmart will do double coupons from time to time (keep watching for the next one) and they will double coupons up to $2, meaning a $2 off coupon will double to $4 off. Kmart will not accept Internet Printable coupons when they do the doubling event.
So, if you have a coupon for .50 or less, always check the prices at the stores that double or triple to see if you can get a better deal there than others store that will just take face value.
If you have more questions, ask away!!
